Inhale to Exhale

Your mind goes blank and your body feels tense. You can’t think of what to say. Or your monkey mind takes over and your mood drops. I have been there too . When stress kicks in, your body shifts into fight or flight—racing thoughts and heart.

Your breath is one of the fastest ways to change that state.

By slowing your breathing, you support your nervous system, help your body feel safe, and create more space in your mind. The result is simple: less anxiety, more grounded clarity, and a calmer presence you can feel quickly in your everyday life.

Energizing your breath, stimulates your mind without outside substances like caffeine. Breath increases oxygen in your blood and acts as a natural energy booster.

Five breathwork techniques have helped me re-awaken my inner confidence. Receive your free 4-minute guided video to these breathwork techniques as my gift to you, enter your email below.

I am including a link to the breathwork video so you can click on it and see what the offer is if they give me their email address. Every pose I picked a display is an emotional hip opener post. The light blue color I picked for the website is based off of the throat chakra. There’s also a lot of green, which focuses on the heart chakra.)

Hi, I’m Janet, an international yoga teacher. I help women rebuild confidence, calm, and clarity through yoga and breath work practices.

Testimonial:

As a working mom, stress is just part of my daily life—or so I thought. Janet built a personalized yoga and meditation practice that actually fit my life. No excuses, no overwhelm—just a realistic daily routine I could stick to. The meditation alone worked wonders I didn't expect: tension I had been carrying in my neck and shoulders for years simply melted away.

I’ve taken Janet’s class several times and always leave feeling better. She makes each class feel familiar while still keeping it fresh and interesting. I really appreciate how she offers modifications and clearly explains alignment, which helps me feel confident and supported in my practice. Highly recommend!

Testimonial:

I appreciate her range and ability to adapt to different kinds of classes. She is excellent at coming up with ways to make classes fun, invigorating, and relaxing.

I have taken a range of classes that she teaches, including large groups in a public setting, small classes in a gym setting, and private one-on-one classes. She encourages students to listen to their bodies. She truly cares about making sure her students have an enjoyable and holistically beneficial experience.

I know what it feels like to be moving through a full, demanding life, holding a lot, caring for others, and still trying to stay connected to yourself in the middle of it all.

I’ve been practicing yoga since 1998, starting in a way that felt more like performance before it became something deeper.

While living in New York City, I turned to yoga as a consistent practice to help regulate my nervous system and move through self-doubt in a fast-paced environment. It became a place where I could breathe, move, and process what I was carrying.

In 2019, I moved back home to care for my parents, got divorced, and stepped into my path as a yoga teacher.

Yoga shapes the way I understand presence and resilience in everyday life. It has carried me through grief and loss and helped me build the confidence to move through life in ways I never thought possible—shifting how I see my life and helping me move beyond limiting beliefs about what was available to me, things like adventure, travel, and building a life that feels fully mine.

I now move with more trust in myself and a deeper sense of possibility.

We are always evolving, learning, and rebuilding confidence through every new season.

My work supports women moving through full lives who want to feel more grounded, present, and self-trusting so they can move through their days with more clarity, confidence, and a sense of being fully alive in their own life.
